GENERAL
For what seems forever, money has been such a major theme in your life that no matter what else was happening, it was always the elephant in the room. Whether you were chasing opportunities or dealing with challenges, since 1995 this has been where most of your attention has been drawn. That all changes this year, while at the same time Mars’ position in your income sector until the 7th June will make sure that there are plenty of income opportunities. Instead 2010 creates an opportunity to spread your wings, either literally or figuratively with Jupiter, planet of luck moving into your sector of travel, adventure, learning and discovery on the 18th January. While this sets the scene for a very fun, exciting and adventurous year, in a way it is your last grasp for freedom, for already powerful professional forces are building on the horizon. They’ll break through in the middle months of the year, with the period from the 6th June to the 9th September providing unexpected career and professional opportunities that are almost ahead of their time. They’ll get things moving and then retreat, coming back in full force in January 2011. Jupiter, planet of luck arrives in your career sector on the 6th June, just a day before Mars leaves your income sector and it’s where they meet that explosive new professional and financial opportunities are due to open up, with June a real breakthrough month. 2010 is also a big year for your love life, with your relationship sector active throughout the year and a series of eclipses bringing unexpected opportunities, but it’s Venus’ extended time in your romantic sector in the last 3 months of the year, that brings an excess of romantic and creative opportunities. This is a big year for home, family and property matters, especially when it comes to putting down roots.
LOVE
You won’t have to wait long to see what 2010 has in store for your love life, with one of the most powerful line ups ever to assemble in your relationship sector there to greet you from Day 1. The year begins with the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Pluto and the North Node all lined up in your relationship sector, a line up that there is no precedent for, for this is a once in a lifetime line up. This brings an opportunity for change and a need for authenticity, with a solar eclipse in your relationship sector on the 15th January, bringing the promise of new beginnings. With Mercury in retrograde motion until the 16th January, this means that the door is also open to second chances. The Sun, Venus and Mercury will all be gone from your relationship sector by early February, but Pluto and the North Node will remain here all year, making 2010 a year when there isn’t a moment that your relationship sector isn’t active, making this one of your most important years ever for relationships, with an opportunity for change and for establishing something authentic. It’s the last 3 months of the year that hold the most romantic potential with Venus, planet of love visiting your romantic sector twice. The first visit runs from the 9th September to the 8th November, over twice as long as she would normally stay, then she returns for a double dip visit from the 30th November 2010 to the 8th January 2011. A New Moon in your romantic sector on the 6th November brings the promise of both new beginnings and second chances.
MONEY
As you move into 2010 you are faced with a set of very contradictory circumstances, that in the past would have caused a near panic attack, but instead gives you a real sense of confidence, so much so that as a sign that is prone to financial anxieties, you are feeling more optimistic than you have ever felt, regardless of your actual situation. As you move into the New Year Jupiter, planet of luck is in his final few days in your financial sector, due to leave on the 18th January, not to return for another 12 years. This is what’s creating the urgency, but why this isn’t turning into panic is that Neptune, planet of dreams and fantasies is also in your financial sector and having aligned with Jupiter in December, is inflating your optimism and your confidence. While Jupiter will return to your financial sector in 12 years time Neptune will be gone by then, leaving in February 2012 and then never again returning in your lifetime. Until Jupiter leaves your financial sector he’s working with Neptune to expand your financial confidence, daring you to believe that anything is possible. But what is really allowing you to hold onto that confidence is Mars, planet of passion, drive and ambition’s position in your chart. Mars moved into your income sector on the 17th October 2009 and as he normally only stays for around 6 weeks, he should be long gone, but he’s not. Mars turns retrograde on the 21st December 2009 and is in retrograde motion as you move into 2010. Mars won’t turn direct until the 11th March, so while he’s there, working behind the scenes and you know and sense that, you’re also aware that there is no urgency. When Mars turns direct things will really start to move and you should expect some real progress on the income front between the 11th March and the 7th June, when he leaves. With your career sector active from the 8th March to the 20th April, this is destined to be an extremely good time for both career and income matters. However, this is just a practice run for the real thing, for just a day before Mars leaves your income sector Jupiter moves into your career sector, on the 6th June. Just 8 days later, on the 14th June, Venus reaches your income sector. By this stage lucky career stars will have set in and from then until the 23rd August opportune income forces fuse with once in a lifetime career forces, to create the perfect storm of professional and financial opportunities.
BUSINESS
While there may be no signs to indicate this is anything but an ordinary year, 2010 is not only destined to be an extremely lucky year for your career as a whole, but a gateway year into a period of career and professional advancement that opens up into a new 28 year era. Yet at the start of the year there is no activity in either your work or career sectors and there will be none until Venus reaches your career sector on the 8th March. From then until the 20th April there is still nothing that indicates just how big the opportunities building just over the horizon are. What may appear to be nothing more nor less than the Sun, Venus and Mercury working as a team, to get things up to speed, as they do at around this time every year, the true scope of what’s building will have yet to reveal itself. It’s just over a month later that the first big break comes, when on the 28th May Uranus moves into your career sector, for the first time since 1935. Then just 9 days later Jupiter, planet of luck moves into your career sector, for the first time since he left in February 2000 and over 6 months ahead of schedule. While Uranus will leave your career sector on the 14th August and Jupiter on the 9th September, they’ll both return in the New Year of 2011. This is the first visit from an outer planet to your career sector since Uranus was last here between 1927 and 1935 and once Jupiter returns in January 2011 your career sector will be continuously active until 2038. You’ll have two Full Moons in your career sector this year, one on the 23rd September and the other on the 23rd October, for at a time when you're launching your biggest professional era ever one just isn’t enough. It is matters on the career front that dominate on the professional front the year, with just a small period where your work sector will be active, from the 28th October onwards. |
