GENERAL
Despite the challenges of previous years, 2010 is the year when things finally come together, especially on the professional front. Jupiter, planet of luck will spend from the 18th January to the 6th June in your career sector, returning for a second visit from the 9th September 2010 to the 23rd January 2011. This sees the planet of luck spend all 3 ½ months of the year in your career sector and because of the work that Uranus has been putting in behind the scenes, since 2003, this is destined to be your year to shine. It’s in the last 3 months of the year that there are some extreme work and career opportunities, making these pinnacle or landmark months. You had better practice your juggling skills though, because this is also a big year for love, romance, your creative talents and for following your heart. Saturn will spend all but 15 weeks of the year in your romantic and creative sector and he will support nothing but a healthy balance between work and play. The middle months of the year, between the 6th June and the 9th September are especially auspicious for networking either on the personal, professional or social fronts. 2010 is also an extremely big year for money matters with your financial and income sectors active all year, with a series of eclipses, two in January, one in June and one in July, creating spikes of activity. It’s on the 21st December that the first lunar eclipse in Gemini in 17 years will fall, giving you a chance to claim your power back and align yourself with your most authentic path.

LOVE
2010 is a big year for love, especially romantic love, with Saturn in your romantic sector for all but 15 weeks of the year, for the whole of 2011 and not due to leave until October 2012. Saturn only visits your romantic sector once every 3 decades, the last time being from 1980 to 1983, making this one of the most important years in your lifetime for taking your love life seriously. Saturn doesn’t do soft and romantic, he is the planet of honesty and conviction and here is demanding that you take your need for love seriously. He’s asking you to commit more than you expect to get back and to persevere where you would normally give up. Saturn is gone from your romantic sector between the 8th April and the 22nd July, giving you a chance to step back and put things into perspective. It’s during that time that Venus, planet of love returns to your sign. It’s during your Venus return that you’re able to set your romantic expectations for the year and the timing couldn’t be more perfect, knowing that once Saturn returns on the 22nd July you're able to commit to the future. Once Saturn returns the real romantic opportunities will begin to kick in, with July through to mid September holding a lot of opportunities for romantic passion. The last 2 months of the year hold surprise romantic opportunities, including second chances and a lot of focus on your relationships, making 2010 a big year for love, so much so that it will overflow into 2011 and beyond.

MONEY
There isn’t a moment in 2010 that your income and financial sectors, the two money houses in your chart aren’t active, making this a year where, from go to woe there is a lot of focus on your financial situation. This is because for the whole year the South Node, a force that sets firm bottom lines and brings opportunities to a head during lunar and solar eclipses, is located in your income sector for the whole of 2010, the last time this will happen for another 2 decades, while at the same time the North Node is located in your financial sector. It is when there is planetary activity in either your financial or income sectors that you’ll find things come to a head and especially during the eclipses, with two eclipses in your income sector this year and two in your financial sector, with a lunar and a solar eclipse in both. The first falls on New Years Day, with a lunar eclipse in your income sector demanding that from Day 1 you set firm and fully defended bottom lines. While the sky is the limit on the financial front, where both the North Node and Pluto are working to break through any glass ceilings, it’s by having firm bottom lines that you’ll have something solid to rest that ladder on, allowing you to climb that much higher. Apart from a lunar eclipse in your income sector on the 1st January, which sets the standard for the rest of the year, the real income opportunities lie between the 20th May and the 23rd July. With 2010 such a big year for professional opportunities, this is when you’ll gain the income opportunities that go with this. While this whole period is ripe with income opportunities, this peaks on the 12th July, when a total solar eclipse in your income sector is destined to open the door to major new opportunities or to put you on a new path that could have life changing consequences, as far as income opportunities are concerned. As far as your financial situation as a whole is concerned, put maximum effort into getting things on track by the 10th February, to a point where things can almost run on autopilot, until you pick them up again in December.

BUSINESS
2010 is the year that you have been working towards since 2003, whether you realise it or not. It was in 2003 that Uranus moved into your career sector where he has been working behind the scenes, opening your mind to what’s possible and daring you to think outside the square. Under pressure from Saturn during most of 2009, you could be forgiven for wondering when that big break was ever going to come, with the answer being ‘this year’. It’s on the 18th January that Jupiter, planet of luck moves into your career sector, for the first time since he left in February 1999. Jupiter will spend all but 3 months of the year in your career sector, making 2010 your luckiest and most expansive professional year in over a decade. Yet while Jupiter visits your career sector once every 11 to 12 years, this is the first time since 1928 that Jupiter and Uranus have joined forces in your career sector, making this one of the biggest professional years in your lifetime. 6 years in the making and with challenges and road blocks behind you, this is your year to shine. It’s when Jupiter is joined by the other planets in February and March that things are really going to take off, with a need to keep your eye out for the 17th February, a day that is shaping up to be an extremely auspicious day for career matters. Jupiter will leave your career sector between the 6th June and the 9th September, giving you a chance to step back and get your bearings, ready to drive things home in the last 3 ½ months of the year. It’s in the last 3 months of the year that you’ll also find the best work opportunities of the year, with things coming together on both the work and career fronts from mid September onwards.
