GENERAL
What you see is not what you get as you move into 2010, though some of it can be trusted. It’s the powerful forces gathering on the income front that are the real deal, for while the tides they will continue to ebb and flow during the year, each ebb strengthens your bottom line and every flow raises your glass ceilings up a notch. With an absence of last year’s professional pressures, your personal and financial confidence is on the rise. It’s on the 18th January that Jupiter, planet of luck moves into your home, family and property sector, making 2010 an extremely important and lucky year for domestic matters. Jupiter is the planet of luck, good fortune and expansion, so it’s likely that things will become bigger. You might move to a bigger house, the size of your family may increase or the importance of things on the home front may become even more important. It’s important from the start that you have the right work/life balance, for Saturn will return to your career sector for 15 weeks, from the 8th April to the 22nd July. There is likely to be some pressure around this, especially if there is too much happening and not enough hours in your day to fit it all into. The one thing that is lacking at the start of the year is romantic opportunities and for the first 2 months you could think that you’ve been left out. While there are some romantic opportunities as early as February the real surprise comes on the 6th June when Jupiter, planet of luck moves into your romantic sector, where he'll create a magical 3 month period that runs until the 9th September. 2010 is also an important year for friendships, teamwork, groups you belong to or for networking in general.
LOVE
2010 is a year that is going to sneak up on you, for there is very little indication at the start of the year, of the huge romantic potential that the year holds. In fact it looks like a very ordinary year and the fact that Venus, planet of love won’t spend a moment of 2010 in your Sign, not returning January 2011, could even leave you feeling that love has abandoned you. But the heavens are in fact holding a surprise party for you and rather than 2010 being a year of either no or limited romantic opportunities, it holds more romantic opportunities than any other year you've ever experienced, in your lifetime. For what comes disguised as an ordinary year, is anything but. It is fitting that the planet that jumps up and yells ‘surprise’ is Uranus, planet of surprise and the unexpected. The last time Uranus was in your romantic sector was between 1927 and 1935, so most likely for the first time in your lifetime or at least the first time as an adult. Uranus moves into your romantic sector on the 28th May and while he’ll leave again on the 14th August, he’ll return in March 2011 and will remain here until 2019. Then just days after Uranus reaches your romantic sector Jupiter, planet of luck arrives, a full 6 months ahead of schedule. Unless you’re over 80, this is the first time in your lifetime that Jupiter and Uranus have met up in your romantic sector and as well as bringing some huge and unexpected romantic opportunities this year, opens up a romantic chapter that extends out for 28 years, until 2038. This dwarfs the romantic opportunities in March and April and the relationship opportunities from late April to mid June, putting your love life on a path that it’s never been on before. This is as big as it gets and forget looking for a year to compare it to, because there isn’t one.
MONEY
It was on the 22nd August 2009 that the lunar nodes shifted, with the South Node moving into your financial sector and the North Node moving into your income sector and as we move into 2010, it’s there they’re still stationed and it’s here that they’ll remain until March 2011, here for the whole of 2010. As well as influencing where the eclipses this year will fall, the lunar nodes create both a back stop and a push forward. With the South Node positioned in your financial sector, this creates some very clear financial bottom lines and a very clear sense of what you need to move away from, leave behind or distance yourself from. It’s a Full Moon in your financial sector on New Years Day that brings that home, giving you a chance to make the right financial resolutions for 2010, from Day 1. After that, so long as you continue to defend your bottom lines and stay on track it won’t be until late May to late July that too much attention is required. It’s the North Node’s position in your income sector that is having a much more bigger impact, mainly because of the support that’s there. While the South Node draws bottom lines, the North Node removes any glass ceilings, creating a situation where the sky is the limit, with an opportunity to strive for more, to acquire more or to move up in the world. This is something that is being supported by Pluto, planet of change and revolution, who will spend the whole year and every other year until 2024, in your income sector. The year begins with the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Pluto and the North Node all in your income sector, creating opportunities that you have never experienced before, so you may have to play it by ear to start with. There is some extreme activity in your income sector in the first 3 weeks of the year, creating an opportunity to get things off to the right start. It’s a solar eclipse in your income sector on the 15th January, that even if it brings no immediate income opportunities, has the power to open new doors and put things on the right path. There isn’t a moment of 2010 that your income sector won’t be active, but you’ll find more opportunities at the start and at the end of the year and also in the few weeks around the lunar eclipse on the 26th June. January and December 2010 and January 2011 are especially auspicious months for income opportunities, with the time in between more about working behind the scenes to create something sustainable.
BUSINESS
The one thing missing as you move into 2010 is the over whelming professional focus that has been here in previous years and more importantly, none of the professional pressure and the challenges that greeted you as you moved into 2009 and had such an impact for all but the last 2 months of last year. For the first time in 3 years you're moving into the New Year without Saturn in your career sector, without the pressures and the challenges but with all the advantages that the 2 years he was here has created. Saturn left your career sector on the 30th October 2009, bringing to an end a very tough and challenging 2 year period, but one that has given you more of a push and more of an advantage than you realise. However, Saturn isn’t quite finished yet, for he’ll return to your career sector for 15 weeks, arriving on the 8th April and leaving on the 22nd July. While this may see the return of some of the pressure, this is a rare second chance to squeeze every possible advantage out of Saturn’s presence as you can, for once he leaves he won’t return for another 3 decades. Yet even while Saturn is still in your career sector some major opportunities are due to kick in. Saturn turns direct on the 31st May and then just a week later Mars, planet of passion, drive and ambition reaches your career sector and together they create a formidable force that opens the door to career opportunities that extend well beyond Saturn’s departure on the 22nd July and Mars’ departure on the 30th July. The Sun, Mercury and Venus will continue to squeeze as many opportunities as they can, right through to the 4th October. Work wise the busiest months of the year are April and May, with an opportunity to get a lot done, to secure new job opportunities or openings or to get stuck into projects. |
