GENERAL
The good thing about karma is that what goes around comes around and while 2009 was probably one of your most challenging years ever, the heavens are bending over backwards in 2010 to balance the scales. It was on the relationship front that you experienced your biggest challenges in 2009, at a time when you were being challenged to show up in your own life and start living authentically. Even before the year begins the tides are turning and on the 18th January Jupiter, planet of luck moves into your relationship sector, for the first time since he was last here, between February 1998 and February 1999. This time he’s in a bit more of a rush, only staying until the 6th June, but returning on the 9th September. It’s this 3 month break that sees the planet of luck make a surprise visit to your financial sector, a good 6 months ahead of schedule and bringing Uranus, planet of surprise and the unexpected with him. This makes the 3 months between the 6th June and the 9th September important financial months, especially as it’s during this period that Saturn will retrograde out of your income sector, on the 8th April and then return on the 22nd July. This puts your income and financial sectors in opposition, but is more a case of having the bar raised. There are a few golden weeks of financial opportunities when Jupiter, planet of luck will be in your financial sector and Venus, planet of money, desire and the laws of attraction will be in your income sector and that will be from the 7th August to the 9th September. The one thing that is going to be constant this year is support from true friends and a heart that is already starting to mount a rebellion, refusing to settle for less or to miss out.

LOVE
Heaven’s communication lines must have been buzzing when they were dealing the romantic and relationship cards for 2010, with someone calling out ‘would someone please give these poor Virgos a break’, which is exactly what’s happening. The extremes that greet you as you move into 2010 couldn’t be greater if you tried, with 2009 holding some of the toughest relationship challenges on record and 2010 holding some of the biggest relationship opportunities. It’s on the 18th January that Jupiter, planet of luck will move into your relationship sector joining forces with Uranus, planet of surprise and the unexpected. This is the first time that Jupiter and Uranus have met up in your relationship sector in 8 decades and it’s where there were relationship challenges last year, that huge and unexpected opportunities are destined to sprout. This is likely to happen quickly, with Jupiter in your relationship sector for a surprisingly short time, leaving on the 6th June, but returning on the 9th September. It’s in February and March that Jupiter gets the most support and these are likely to be the luckiest and best relationship months of the year. This alone gives you more than your fair share, but not to be outdone your romantic sector is pulling out all the stops as well. You move into the year with a once in a lifetime line up of forces in your romantic sector, creating an opportunity for new beginnings, for change and even second chances. A solar eclipse in your romantic sector on the 15th January brings an opportunity for new romantic beginnings or has the power to put your heart or your love life on a new path. Your romantic sector will be active for every moment of 2010 and your relationship sector for all but 2 months in the middle of the year, from the 6th June to the 14th August.

MONEY
With so much going on in your personal life in recent years, with some big challenges in 2009 and a real comeback in 2010, money has been put to the back burner or relegated to something that was addressed when it needed to be, contended and dealt with when you had to or was a necessary evil or a means to an end. You haven’t been particularly financially motivated for a long time, but that’s about to change this year and in a very big way. The year begins with Saturn in your income sector, having moved in on the 30th October 2009. However, he’s almost stationary and turning retrograde on the 14th January, is creating no urgency whatsoever. Because Saturn will leave on the 8th April and won’t return until the 22nd July even he, a planet that usually takes things very seriously, is seeing this as a practice run or as a chance to test the waters. In retrograde motion from the 14th January, this is something you're more likely to shelve or dismiss as a background theme. That and the fact that there is no activity in your financial sector, could lead you to see this as a very non urgent and unimportant financial year, but how wrong you would be. It’s on the 8th March that you’ll become a lot more financially motivated, for that’s when Venus, planet of money, desire and the laws of attraction moves into your financial sector, as she does around this time every year. Over the following weeks Venus will be joined by the Sun and Mercury, keeping your financial sector active until the 20th April. With Saturn gone from your income sector by then and your financial sector once again empty, this is when things stop, but only for what could be considered a ‘pregnant pause’. It’s on the 28th May that things change dramatically, for it’s then that Uranus moves into your financial sector, for the first time since he was last here between 1927 and 1935. Then just 9 days later Jupiter, planet of luck arrives, 6 months ahead of schedule and teaming up with Uranus for the first time since 1928, 82 years ago. Then on the 22nd July Saturn returns to your income sector and it’s game on, with the titans of the heavens fighting for supremacy between your income and financial sectors, in a way that may create some pressure at first, but opens things up in a way that you have never seen before and changing the course of your history for the next 28 years. The stakes are set to rise in ways that you have never seen before, with what you can achieve over the coming years beyond anything that you could have even imagined or even conceived before, let alone considered possible.

BUSINESS
The main professional thrust comes earlier in the year and is less to do with actual productivity and more to do with having a clear sense of what you want for not only the coming year, but for the foreseeable future. As you move into the New Year Jupiter, planet of luck is in his final days in your work sector, due to leave on the 18th January. Once Jupiter leaves he won’t return for another 12 years, but even when he does Neptune, planet of dreams and fantasies will be gone, never to return to your work sector again in your lifetime. This means that for just 2 ½ weeks of the year, you have Jupiter and Neptune in your work sector and with the Sun and Venus not arriving until after the planet of luck is gone, this needs to be a period that is all about establishing the dream and the ideal. It’s telling that Venus won’t reach your work sector until the 19th January, the day after Jupiter leaves and the Sun not until a day later, on the 20th January. This holds off the mundane focus until you have established your long term ideals. It’s from the 19th January to the 2nd March that you're able to start walking the talk, for this is when your work sector will be active and when effort put in is going to yield the best results. If there is to be a change of job early in 2010, the most promising time is around the 14th February, when a New Moon falls in your work sector. Your career sector will be active from the 25th April to the 25th June, a period of exactly 2 months, where your focus is on the long term and on establishing where to from here when it comes to the next rung on the ladder. Watch out for events around the 21st December, with a surprise lunar eclipse in your career sector a real wildcard.
